How to consign:

Consignment Terms
UpScale Plus Size Clothing Accepts:
Top Quality Plus Size Clothing 14W and larger career, casual and formal wear in-style and in-season.
Items need to be clean, pressed, on hangers, and in new condition.
Items need to be odor-free and pet-hair free.
Clothing must be for the current season which varies each year by season. Call us for acceptance dates.
Purses and wallets must be real leather or other natural fabric.
Scarves and hats must be silk or other natural fabric.
Call us for a convenient time to come in.

Call us for guidelines and acceptance information.
We do not accept items during Thanksgiving or Christmas week.
You may "drop and run" after your account is set up as long as items meet our guidelines.

Consignment
Here's how it works
We charge a small fee to set up your account
We need 20-25 pieces which are "in-style, in-season," clean, on hangers and ready to be priced.
We pay you a percentage of what we sell the items for. Prices are determined by our customer base. We price them to sell. The consignment period is 60 days. Unsold items are donated to a local, non-profit organization. We will provide you with a donation list upon request.


What to Consign and When
Below we have made some suggestions as to what items sell best during which seasons. Suits with skirts, dresses, and clingy fabrics are not very popular with today's working woman. Heavy fabrics are also not popular as so many of our customers are "hot bodies."  Matching separates, items with personality, Cherry Creek brands, light weight fabrics that can be worn year-round, in new condition, and spotless will sell the best for you.

Denver has become quite warm in comparison to past years and weather does determine our acceptance dates. Think like a customer. What is she looking for and buying now? If the weather is warm, she is looking for light weights in the season's colors.

We know that you would like to bring us everything from your closet, but we have to make our best judgement call as to what is currently selling. This becomes our guideline on acceptance dates. Call us to set up a time.

Calendar
Spring suggestions
Includes pastel, floral and lightweight blouse, slacks, cardigan and cardigan sets. Cruise wear in lighter colors and fabrics. Mothers of the bride dresses, fancy jackets, light weight jeans, fitted blazers are all popular during this season.

Summer suggestions
Includes warm weather clothing, tank tops, short sleeve and sleeveless, short and short sets, sun dresses, skorts, culottes, swim suit cover-ups, swim suits (new with tags only), beach totes, hats and caps, sunglasses.

Fall suggestions
Includes back to school and transitional wear, jeans, denim jackets, rain gear, lighter weight, natural fabric sweaters, business wear, fitted blazers, dress pants. Our weather patterns have really changed in the last ten years and it stays warmer, longer. By taking heavy items now, customers will not purchase them. When they finally do, items are often half-price. It doesn't make either of us any money.

Holiday - November 1 through December 1 
Includes Christmas and New Year's dresses, beaded sweaters, sequined tops and skirts especially with red or green or holiday patterns or motifs.  Includes velvets, velours.

Winter suggestions
Includes cold weather woolies, velvets and suede, lined jackets and coats, scarves and gloves, winter sportswear, sweaters and cardigans, leather and fur, flannel shirts.

Our current customers are paramount in what we accept during any season.
We cater to our customers, help them match outfits, provide them with a positive atmosphere to help them look their best. If we can't accept some of your items, it is because of customer preferences.
